* For each additional 50 pounds of weight, or part thereof, the price increases $50.00.
If the hunter does not get a shot at a boar during a day's hunt, only the $235.00 per day will be charged. If the hunter shoots a boar, there will be no charge for lodging, meals, and guide ($235.00) and only the charge for the boar's weight will be assessed.
The Gopher Plantation will gladly cape and quarter your boar and keep him in a cooler for $30.00 for weights to 199 pounds and $40.00 for weights of 200 pounds and above.
The noted prices include 7% sales tax and $100.00 per day guide service.
Wild Boar - Policy
The guide will transport hunter to the stand. Hunting will be from an elevated stand or ground blind. Legal weapons are rifle, muzzle loader, and bow. The morning hunt lasts 3 to 4 hours. The hunter is then transported to the Lodge for lunch. Then the hunter is transported to the stand and hunts 3 to 4 hours until dark.
Wounded Boar: Up to the discretion of Plantation Management and may be treated as a harvested boar.
A Georgia Hunting License is required to hunt boar.
Combination Hunts
For any three (3) consecutive days of hunting booked at The Gopher Plantation, one hundred dollars ($100.00) may be deducted from the accumulative total price if at least one day is boar hunting.

Some example combinations are noted below:
a) 2-day deer hunt = $950.00 + 1-day boar hunt; (100 - 149 pounds) $350.00 - $100.00 = $ 1,200.00
b) 1-day deer hunt - $475.00 + 1-day quail hunt = $395.00 + 1-day boar hunt (100 - 149 pounds) $350.00 - $100.00 = $ 1,120.00
c) 1-day deer hunt $475.00; 1-day boar hunt (100 - 149 pounds) $350.00; 1-day boar hunt (150 to 199 pounds) $400.00 - $100.00 = $ 1,125.00
d) 1-day turkey hunt (saw a gobbler but didn't get a shot) $375.00; 1-day turkey hunt (shot a gobbler) $575.00; 1-day boar hunt (100 - 149 pounds) $350.00 - $100.00 = $ 1,200.00
Lodging and meals for non-hunters with a hunting party = $95.00/day.
Prices noted for Wild Boar and combo hunts includes a 7% sales tax and appropriate guide fee.
